FAQ
I have been a member since 8/1/2019
I am Founder and CEO of RGD Construction. We are a General Contracting/Construction Company that specializes in residential remodeling & additions, commercial tenant improvements, custom millwork, cabinetry, and flooring.
I have served on the Membership Advisory Committee for the Girls Scouts of Southern NV, I was a troop leader for Girl Scouts for 6 years, I am an alumni of Leadership Henderson, I currently serve on the CTOBC committee for RTC and Harry Reid airport, I served as the chair for NAWIC Block Kids, I am currently on the board of directors for NAWIC, I am currently a development committee member for the nonprofit Taking Back the Block (Donna Street Community Center), and I am a current SOT committee member for my daughter’s middle school.
I am not certain if I am qualified for this position or even what makes a person qualified to be a board president.
What I do know is: I take my community commitment seriously and always strive to put my best foot forward. I know that I believe in women supporting one another, I believe in lifting one another up and being cheerleaders for all women, and I believe in doing my part and showing up as a female leader, so that I can be an example for my daughter and all the girls growing into amazing women.
Again, I am not sure what makes me qualified, all I can say is, I will continue to show up for NAWIC and all the amazing women involved in the organization, and I will do my best to represent our chapter.
